Imifino/Wild Spinach Recipe

Imifino

Ingredients

  • 500 g Imfino (1 bunch)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • ½ Finely Chopped Onion
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Method

Wash and clean your Imifino.

Chop your imifino.

Boil your Imifino in water for 15 minutes with a ¼ of salt added.

After boiling drain out of water. (drain as much as you can)

Is a separate sauce pan add your oil and fry your onions and garlic until soft. (± 5 minutes on low heat)

Now combine all together

Add your imifino to your saucepan and fry for a further 15 minutes on low heat. (continuously stir to avoid burning/sticking)

Serve and enjoy!
